Daniel Gerard Breen

Breen, Daniel G. of Freeport, NY on January 17, 2018. Born April 27, 1951, Danny is preceded in death by his loving wife Diane Delaney-Breen. Devoted father to Danny, Michael and Shannon (Eric). Proud Grandfather to Brody, Anna and Leah. Faithful brother to Kim, Anne, Kevin, Tommy and the late Jack and Gerard. Loving son to the late Daniel J. and Marie. Loved by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. An honest and trusted businessman, Danny was a skilled mechanic. He founded "Danny's Auto Repair" in 1981 in Oceanside, where he worked side by side with his brother Kevin and his loyal staff. Anyone wishing to honor the memory of Danny Breen, simply go and do something nice for someone else. Generosity, a fierce work ethic and the love for his family were the foundation of his life.

Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 7-9pm and Saturday, January 20, 2-4 and 7-9 at Towers Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday, January 21 at 10am at Towers followed by the gravesite at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Flushing, NY.
