Denis Reid Mclarney
McLarney, Denis R. of Oceanside on March 1, 2012, at age 49 fought a courageous battle against cancer. Beloved husband of Doreen. Loving father of Dylan and Devin. Cherished son of Eileen McLarney. Also survived by his father Charles "Hap". Dear brother of Kevin, Thomas, Eileen. Caring son-in-law of Phyllis Gaffney. He is also loved and survived by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and 9 nieces and nephews. Denis was a true 9/11 hero and responder as well as a devoted Police Officer of the NYPD. Donations in Denis' memory may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1000 North Village Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
