Kathleen O'Callaghan

O'Callaghan (nee Wylie), Kathleen, late of Oceanside and East Meadow, New York and Dublin, Ireland - March 30th 2018 - in her 92nd year (peacefully) in the care of the staff and the Sisters of St. Joseph at the Maria Regina Residence in Brentwood, New York. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph O'Callaghan and loving mother of Barbara (Jim), Sean (Laura), Joanne (Greg), Cathy (Bob) and Kevin (Denise). Devoted "Nanny" to her nine grandchildren - Bobby, Sean, Kerry, Joseph, Kelly, Ryan, Michael, Gregory and Zachary. Sadly missed by her godchild Anne Flynn and her many nephews, nieces, grandnephews , grandnieces and especially by her great granddaughter Bridget; brother- in- law Finbar O'Callaghan and sisters-in-law Mona Wylie and Nuala Wylie, as well as her extended family and friends in the USA and Ireland.

Reposing at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside, New York, Sunday, April 8th from 12 – 4 pm. Mass of Christian burial on Monday, April 9th at 9:45 am at St. Anthony's R.C. Church in Oceanside. Interment immediately afterwards to Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
