Anna Misitano

Anna "Ann" Misitano, 93, of Oceanside, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 7, 2025, following a brief hospitalization after a fall. Born on December 27, 1931, in Brooklyn, Ann lived a life devoted to her family, faith, and love for her late husband, Carl, with whom she shared 67 wonderful years of marriage.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ann found her greatest joy in caring for her loved ones. Together with Carl, she built a large and loving family that includes six children and their spouses, 18 grandchildren and spouses and 16 great grandchildren.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:45 am on Friday, November 14th at St. Anthony’s RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton.

Calling hours will be Thursday, November 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Towers Funeral Home Inc, 2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY.

In lieu of flowers, Anna’s family requests donations be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
