Augustin R. Cisneros

We mourn the loss of the sweetest man ever, Augustin affectionately known as "Augi" and "Uncle Rey". He passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024 at the age of 94. Born in Puerto Plata of the Dominican Republic. He immigrated here through Canada at the age of 4 with his family and grew up on a farm in Jefferson, New York. He was the youngest of six. He served in the Army during the Korean war and became a dental mechanic. He lived in Queens and married his wife Carmen and had two sons Reynaldo and Neil and his cherished grandchildren Valerie Ann and Robert Christopher. He was an amazing dancer, card player and was an avid fan of the Mets. He always had a smile and nothing but kind words to say. He will be greatly missed and remembered in our hearts always.

In lieu of flowers the family requests mass cards or donations be made to Catholic Charities or The Long Island Cares Harry Chapin Food Bank in Augustin's memory.
