Beatriz P. Cordero

The world lost a beloved woman, Beatriz Cordero, on December 14, 2021 while surrounded by family. Bea was mother to Karla and Rik and grandmother to Hunter, Makena, Gavin, Kaia and Chloe. She raised her children with love and devotion in Far Rockaway, Queens and Baldwin, Long Island with her husband of 50 years, Fred.

Upon graduating from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, Bea arrived in the United States in 1971 where she worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. Her colleagues knew her as a kind and generous soul who was always willing to help with the utmost care, professionalism and empathy.

Bea is survived by her brother Tony and her sister Fely. She was preceded in death by her sisters Norma and Victoria, her brother Francis and her parents Serafin and Aurelia.

Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Bea at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside, NY on Saturday December 18th and Sunday December 19th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family will have a burial at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale on Monday, December 20 at 11:30 am. Family members and friends who wish to join the procession to Pinelawn should meet at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00am.
