Beth-Ann Fredrickson

Beth-Ann Fredrickson, born in Rockville Center in October 1942, cherished a life filled with love, laughter, and a splash of the ocean. 

Growing up in Long Island and Florida, she developed a lifelong affection for the beach, which she shared with her sister Roberta, whom she loved to play with and affectionately tease. After becoming a nurse at Lutheran Medical School, she married Edwin Olaf Fredrickson and enjoyed a fulfilling career at Coney Island Hospital, where she met her dear friend Gus.

 Beth was known for her lively personality, whether hosting lobster bakes, playing classical music, or singing in various groups and musicals, her favorites included No, No, Nanette, Once Upon a Mattress, and Guys and Dolls. She delighted in performing on stage with friends, Dick, Anne, and Jack to name a few, and sharing her musical talents with audiences. 

A true lover of life, she was also a devoted caregiver to her husband and mother, Elizabeth (Betty). Beth’s warmth and zest for life will be missed by her sister Roberta, niece Erica, nephew-in-law Nick, and cat Bea (formerly BellaBoo) but her joyful spirit lives on in the memories she made with all who knew her.
