Carmela Papaleo (née Vitale). Peacefully on May 27, 2019. Formally of Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, Long Beach, NY and Delray Beach, Florida. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Jo-Ann Santangelo (Thomas), Joseph R. (Jackie), Aida M. Papaleo (Andy Baker) and Annamaria Tsouros (Frank). Beloved grandmother of Thomas Joseph, Craig, Stavros Joseph and Alexia grandmother to Ernesto Papaleo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, June 3rd at St Ignatius Martyr Parish, 721 W. Broadway, Long Beach, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside on Monday, June 3rd at 11:45 am.
Calling hours will be Sunday, June 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
