Carmen De Palacios

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carmen de Palacios (Mami) on February 10th, 2025. Born on August 4, 1927 in Yautan, Peru she was a beacon of love, strength, and compassion to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mami was the devoted rock of our family who dedicated her life to her family and all things New York City. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering support. Her infectious smile and warm embrace will be deeply missed by everyone she touched.

She will forever be treasured by her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren who will continue to cherish her memory and carry her spirit with them.

Her love and guidance will forever be etched in our hearts, and her memory will live on in the stories we share and the values she instilled in us.

May she rest in eternal peace

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 15th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 529 West 121 Street, New York, NY. A private cremation will follow.

Calling hours will be Friday, February 14th from 3-8PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
