Carol Marie Rush

Carol Marie Rush, of Freeport, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2023. She was 86 years old. Carol was surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of John and Pat McNamara, Carol was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn. She spent her life as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her volunteer work with AHRC and the special needs community.

Carol is survived by her children Laura (Chris), Mary (Armando), Timothy, Kissy (Bob), Alison (Russell) and Christine(John) as well as 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Thomas.

Carol was an avid Mets and Notre Dame fan, she loved singing and dancing and being with her family.
