Christopher William Powers

Christopher Powers passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet generosity and deep love for his family defined his life.

Christopher is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Together, they built a life and family that meant everything to him. He is also survived by his son, Christopher Jr., and his daughter, Stephanie.

He was a proud and loving grandfather to Jack, Johnny, Olivia, and Jessie. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. He would do anything for them at a moment’s notice and was especially known for sneaking them sweets and treats when Mom said no, something they will always remember with smiles.

Christopher found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time at his home in Florida and especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi at night. He was a familiar face at Stop & Shop and the dollar store, finding comfort in his daily routines. He had a fondness for his favorite comfort foods, Nathans, ice cream, kettle chips, and, of course, his favorite candy, Dots.

To those who knew him best, Christopher was a good man with a kind and generous heart. He loved his family deeply and unconditionally, and that love showed in both the big moments and the quiet, everyday ones.

He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the love of his family, and the many knowing eye rolls they will share for years to come (IYKYK)
