Cleopatra Tamis, of East Rockaway, NY, died on Friday, May 12, 2017.She was a long time and devoted administrative assistant for many years at the Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre, NY. She is survived by her son Chris, daughter-in-law Karen, granddaughter Jessica, grandson Andrew, sister Mary Zahos, brother-in-law Art Zahos, and many loving nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 16th at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. Paul, 110 Cathedral Ave, Hempstead, NY. The burial will be at the LI National Cemetery in Pinelawn, NY following the church service. The family will receive relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects on Monday, May 15th from 5pm until 9pm at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
