Concetta Gallon

Concetta Gallon of Oceanside passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Concetta was born on April 21, 1938 in Gesualdo, Italy to Rosa and Guiseppe Mirtuono. She was the youngest of 12 children. She went on to marry Gildo (deceased) on May 25, 1968.

She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Anna and Frank, Lisa and her husband Joseph. Her joy of being a mother was only surpassed by her love of being a grandmother to her 6 grandchildren- Joseph 20, Gabrielle 15, Hailey 18, Frankie and Samantha 17 and Nicholas 10.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all that knew her.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 27th from 2-7PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, N.Y.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 28th at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 110 Anchor Ave. Oceanside N.Y. 9:45AM. Interment at Greenfield cemetery imediately following.
