Daniel P. Hamilton

Daniel P. Hamilton, age 87, of Oceanside, NY, died Sunday, July 31, 2016. Mr. Hamilton was born in Cork City, Ireland, the son of the late Daniel and the late Catherine (Mahoney) Hamilton.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, honorably discharged from active duty in the year 1955. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Reilly, his nephews Daniel (Leta) Cacace, Michael (Tricia) Wilder, Daniel (Elizabeth) Reilly, Patrick (Lisbeth) Reilly, Jared (Amy) Schwartz, nieces Catherine (nee Cacace) (Richard) Harris, Ellen (nee Cacace) Zachary Schwartz, Jessica (Shane) Brennan and many loving great nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass will be 9:45 am on Wednesday, August 3rd, at St Anthony's RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. The burial, with military honors, will be at Calverton National Cemetery, in Calverton, NY following the funeral mass.

The family will receive their relatives and friends wishing to pay their respects, on Tuesday, August 2nd, from 5pm to 9pm at Towers Funeral Home.
