Domenica Nobili

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Domenica Nobili on Friday, December 20, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 29, 1931, in Torrice, Frosinone, Italy, Domenica was the beloved daughter of Domenico and Domenica Sirizzotti and one of five siblings.

Domenica married Domenico Nobili, who with whom she built a home with and raised four children. In November 1971, she left her beloved Italy to begin a new chapter in New York, bringing her strength, resilience, and passion for life to a new home.

A strong and loving woman, Domenica’s unwavering positive attitude carried her through life’s most challenging times. She was known for her warmth, her boundless generosity, and her culinary talents. Cooking was her love language, and she delighted in sharing her delicious meals with family and friends. Domenica also cherished the outdoors, finding joy and peace in her garden, where she spent many sunny days tending to her plants.

Above all, Domenica was a devoted mother. She was a proud Nonna to seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, affectionately known as "New York Nonna" to those in Florida. Her family was her greatest pride, and she treasured the time spent creating precious memories with them. Even in her later years, Domenica’s positivity and humor shone brightly, whether she was eagerly anticipating her next hair appointment or watching her favorite novelas on tv.

Domenica was predeceased by her beloved husband, Domenico, and her cherished daughter, Rita, who remain deeply missed and forever in the hearts of their family. Domenica now joins Domenico and Rita in eternal peace, their love and connection unbroken by time.

Domenica was a pillar of strength and love, and her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of her family. She leaves behind her children, Angelo, Alberto, and Chiarina; her son-in-law, Paddy; her daughters-in-law, Pina and Maria; her cherished grandchildren, Lucio, Stefania, Dominick, Joanna, Sabrina, Angela, and Michael; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Camryn, Kendall, Giulian, Niko, Liliana, Gemma, and Luke.

Domenica’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of family. Her smile, her kindness, and her unforgettable presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

È con il cuore pesante che annunciamo la serena scomparsa di Domenica Nobili venerdì 20 Dicembre 2024, circondata dall'amore della sua famiglia. Nata il 29 Novembre 1931 a Torrice, Frosinone, Italia, Domenica era l'amata figlia di Domenico e Domenica Sirizzotti e una di tre sorelle e due fratelli.

Domenica sposò Domenico Nobili, con il quale costruì una casa e crebbe quattro figli. Nel Novembre 1971, lasciò la sua amata Italia per iniziare un nuovo capitolo a New York, portando la sua forza, resilienza e passione per la vita in una nuova casa.

Una donna forte e amorevole, l'atteggiamento positivo e incrollabile di Domenica la accompagnò nei momenti più difficili della vita. Era nota per la sua sconfinata generosità.  La cucina era il suo linguaggio dell'amore e amava condividere i suoi deliziosi pasti con la famiglia e gli amici. Domenica amava anche la vita all'aria aperta, trovando gioia e pace nel suo giardino, dove trascorreva molte giornate di sole a prendersi cura delle sue piante.

Soprattutto, Domenica era una madre devota. Era una nonna orgogliosa per sette nipoti e sette pronipoti, affettuosamente chiamata "New York Nonna" da quelli in Florida. La sua famiglia era il suo più grande orgoglio e lei faceva tesoro del tempo trascorso a creare ricordi preziosi con loro. Anche negli ultimi anni, la positività e l'umorismo di Domenica brillavano intensamente, sia che aspettasse con ansia il suo prossimo appuntamento dal parrucchiere o guardasse i suoi romanzi preferiti in TV.

Domenica è stata preceduta nella morte dal suo marito, Domenico, e dalla sua adorata figlia, Rita, che rimangono profondamente rimpianti e per sempre nei cuori della loro famiglia. Domenica ora si unisce a Domenico e Rita in pace eterna, il loro amore e il loro legame intatti dal tempo.

Domenica era un pilastro di forza e amore e la sua eredità vivrà per sempre nei cuori della sua famiglia. Lascia i suoi figli, Angelo, Alberto e Chiarina; suo genero, Paddy; le sue nuore, Pina e Maria; i suoi amati nipoti, Lucio, Stefania, Dominick, Joanna, Sabrina, Angela e Michael; e i suoi amati pronipoti, Camryn, Kendall, Giulian, Niko, Liliana, Gemma e Luke.

La vita di Domenica è stata una testimonianza di resilienza, amore e gioia della famiglia. Il suo sorriso, la sua gentilezza e la sua presenza indimenticabile mancheranno profondamente a tutti coloro che l'hanno conosciuta.

Riposa in pace, Domenica, la nostra amata madre, Nonna e amica. Sarai per sempre nei nostri cuori.
