Donald Francis O'Leary

Donald O’Leary, a dedicated civil trial attorney and beloved family man, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on January 7th. He was born on May 5, 1940, in New York City.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Carol; his daughter, Donna and his sons, Denis and Jamie.

He is also survived by his brother, Brian; and his nine cherished grandchildren: Denis, Kieran, Colin, Maeve, Paul, Danny, Bridget, Emily, and Patrick.

Throughout his career as a civil trial attorney, Donald was known for his sharp intellect and unwavering commitment to helping others.

However, it was his role as a family man that truly defined him. Donald’s greatest joy came from spending time with his extended family, creating lasting memories and strengthening the bonds that held them together.

As a grandfather, Donald took immense pride in his grandchildren’s accomplishments and delighted in watching them grow. His sense of humor, wise counsel, and unconditional love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Donald’s life was a testament to the values integrity, love and the importance of family. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide his loved ones for generations to come.

A memorial service to celebrate Donald’s life will be held at Towers Funeral Home on Friday January 9th at 2-4PM and 7-9PM and the Funeral Mass at St Christopher’s on Saturday January 10th at 9:45 AM.
