Edward Delucie

Edward DeLucie, Sr, age 89, Oceanside passed Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Blair) DeLucie, his children Edward Jr. (Geralyn), Robert (Roseann), Steven (Kelly), Sharon Costante (Richard) and the late Kathleen Noone (James). He was a loving grandfather to Lauren Ribera (Mitchell), Kathleen Donohue (Joseph), Alana (fiance Jason), Robert DeLucie Jr., James (Claire) and Danielle Noone, Nico and Luca DeLucie, and Gina, Christina, Brianna, and Richard Costante. He was also a great grandfather to Natalie, Julia, James and Jack. Edward is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

He served in the Army during World War II and was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus as a forth degree knight.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Saturday, August 19 at St Anthonys RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. The entombment will be in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, following the mass.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
