EFIMIYA MENKSIS of Constantinople, aged 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 26th.
The body of the deceased will be laid to rest on Monday, August 31st at PANAGHIA OF ISLAND PARK GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH located at 83 Newport Rd, Island Park NY 11558. Viewing hours will be from 10AM – 11AM, with a funeral service to follow.
Immediately following, the burial service will take place at Cypress Hills Cemetery located at 833 Jamaica Ave Brooklyn NY, 11208.
Efimiya leaves behind her family: Her husband, DIAMANDI MENKSIS, Children OLGA MENKSIS and LOUIS CALOS, Grandchildren DANNY and SPYRIDOULA CALOS, ANTHONY CALOS, KAYLA CALOS, and EUGENE RACZKA (Fiancé) and Great-grandchildren OLGA CALOS.
In lieu of flower arrangements, donations can be sent to Panaghia of Island Park Greek Orthodox Church.
