Eileen Wilhelm

Eileen Wilhelm passed away peacefully in her home on December 10, 2025, surrounded by her family, at the age of 92. She was born on March 18, 1933, in Jamaica, New York, to Joseph and Helen Canavan. Eileen lived a life marked by love, strength, and devotion to those around her. 

Eileen, affectionately known as Nana, will be remembered for her kindness and dedication, touching the lives of all who knew her. Her family was everything to her, and she devoted her life to caring for them and others. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Wilhelm. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Robert and Debbie Wilhelm; Glenn Wilhelm; Adrienne Grimaldi; Paul Wilhelm; and Mary Beth Wilhelm; and her beloved grandchildren: Dana and Bobby Byrne; Paul Robert and Doris Wilhelm; Thomas Wilhelm; Katlyn Wilhelm; and Courtney Wilhelm. She also leaves behind her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

Visitation will be held at Towers Funeral Home on Monday, December 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Oceanside. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in her name. 

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all her family and friends.
