Elaine N. Dagger

A 66 year resident of Baldwin, N.Y., Elaine passed away surronded by her family and loved ones on August 22, 2019. Born October 2, 1925 in Forest Hills, Queens, she spent her formidable years growing up in Rockville Centre with her parents and 4 sibilings. She was a graduate of St. Agnes High School, class of 1943. She is predeceased by her beloved husband James C. Dagger Jr. and her cherished grandson Nicholas R. Dagger. . She is survived by her 5 devoted children, James W. (Mimi), Joanne Coleman(Pat), Carolyn Cesare(Sal), Bobby(Cris) and Stephen(Amy) as well as her 17 loving grandchildren and 5 adoring great grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sister Marilyn Shull(Al), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours wil be on Sunday, August 25th from 6-9PM and Monday, August 26th, from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Towers Funeral Home INC., 2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside NY.

A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10AM on Tuesday, August 27th at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cathedral, Rockville Centre NY. Interment immediately following at Calverton National Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the American Heart Association.
