Elizabeth G. Asciote

We are sad to announce the passing of Elizabeth "Bette" Asciote, at the age of 72 on January 3rd, 2025. She passed peacefully at her home at Townhouse Rehabilitation Center in Hempstead in the Evening at 5pm.

Betty Who was an admirer of Betty Boop, an avid fan of Survivor, and a devoted reader of Stephen King novels. Her passions were not limited to indulging in reality TV and making sure she was always put together with a fresh face of makeup. She found the beauty and inspiration in the works of Norman Rockwell and carried his words as a guiding principle.

Betty's greatest pride and joy came from her role as a grandmother to her cherished granddaughter Alora, as a devoted mother to her two daughters, Holly and Michelle, and to her cherished friends, who she carried with her everywhere she went. Whether Crafting elaborate Halloween costumes, crocheting hats and other crafts to keep everyone warm, or lighting up a room with her love of the spotlight. Betty always sought to make life magical, and memorable for those she loved.

There will be a service held for Bette on Saturday January 11th at 10:45am at Our Lady of Snows church in New Hyde Park.
