Survived by sister Ingrid Theriault ; (Pre-deceased by his sister Karin Stone)

Devoted husband & father and grandfather, loved his family, enjoyed family vacations, enjoyed spending time with his great friends & family, avid sports fan, Yankees & Mickey Mantle fan.

Long time member of Oceanside Lutheran Church, which he served as treasurer for over 30 years and volunteered to help cook for the needy.

Served in the Air Force in communications

After finishing his tour in the Air Force, Ernie took a trip to NY with a buddy looking for a job.... landed a job at Sabena Airlines in JFK, moved Joan to NY with him and later retired from the Air Cargo industry.
