Florence Perperis

Florence Perperis, born on November 28, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, peacefully passed away on May 20, 2026. 

She is survived by her beloved brother, Terry, along with cherished nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, who all hold her memory close to their hearts. 

Funeral arrangements have been made to honor Florence’s life and legacy with dignity and respect. A visitation will be held on May 27, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Paul, located at 110 Cathedral Avenue, Hempstead, NY 11550. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where family, friends, and community members may come together in remembrance and prayer.

The final committal and other related proceedings will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery at 65-40 Grand Avenue, NY 11378, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on May 27, 2026.

Florence Perperis’s life serves as a beacon of love and faith. She leaves behind a cherished bond with all those who had the honor of calling her family and friend. May her memory be eternal.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cathedral of St. Paul's building fund in Florence's memory.
