Frances P Nolan

Frances P. Nolan of Oceanside, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 3, 2023

surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born on June 27, 1932 to Frank and Catherine

McAvinue in Queens, NY. She was the beloved wife of the late James P. Nolan. She was the

best little sister to the late Winifred Kaminski (Harry). She was the best sister-in-law (BFF) to

Mary Winterfeldt (Ronald). Frances is also survived by her long-time friends Caroline, Margie,

and Marilyn.

Frances moved to Oceanside over 62 years ago and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic

Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She volunteered in the community and she drove for The

School of the Blind.

Frances was the guiding Matriarch to her family, leading us with her never ending faith in God

and unconditional love. We were so blessed to have such a special person in our lives for so

many years. She always made everyone feel welcome, important, and loved!! Frances had a

special gift of healing others in ways that were beautiful and filled with kindness and love. We

all have our memories of Frances and the special things she did; praying, hugging, listening,

healing, laughing, dancing, singing, and so much more. Frances was a wonderful blessing from

God above and she will be cherished and remembered by everyone with love.

She was the most wonderful mother to Patricia Hildebrandt (Robert), James (Eileen), Brian (Ann

Marie), Kathleen Krupka (Jeffrey), and Mary Frances Tripodi (Edward).

Frances was cherished by her 14 grandchildren Nadine, James (J.J.), Christine, Catherine,

Robert, Christopher, Matthew, Erik, Mary-Louise, Timothy, Mallory, Isabella, Brianna and

Andrew. She was the best GiGi to her 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was loved and admired by

her numerous nieces, nephews, and friends
