Gail Milone

Gail Nola Milone, 68, of Oceanside, New York, passed away on August 7, 2026.

Gail was the beloved wife of Louis Milone; devoted mother of Mike and his wife, Jackie, and Eva and her husband, Nick; beloved sister of Janet; and cherished grandmother of Pippa, George, Luke, and Mia. Her grandchildren were one of the greatest joys of her life and brought her immeasurable happiness.

Gail was a true free spirit who loved being around people. She loved to socialize, to laugh, and to enjoy life, and she had a way of leaving an impression wherever she went. Gail was unforgettable, and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her will remember her warmth, her personality, and the unmistakable spirit she brought into a room. Above all, Gail loved her family.

Gail lived life in her own way, guided by a favorite saying that captured her spirit perfectly: “Always forward, never straight.” Her family and friends will carry that spirit with them, along with countless stories, memories, and laughter. She will be deeply missed and impossible to forget.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 7:00–9:00 p.m. at Towers Funeral Home in Oceanside, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 9:45 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church in Baldwin, New York.
