Gary Francis Rose

Gary F. Rose (81), of Oceanside, New York, passed away on January 11, 2023. Gary is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diane, his three children, Kirk, Debra (Kendall), and Darren (Jennifer), and his four grandchildren, Nichole, Ben, Aaron, and Jolie. Gary was predeceased in death by his first wife, Helen, his parents, Robert Rose and Dorothy Blasser, and his brother, Robert.

Gary was a member of The Church of the Ascension for many years. He was an avid bridge player and connoisseur of local diners. He loved American history. Gary held a bachelor’s degree in math, which fueled a lifelong passion for numbers and logic.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Towers Funeral Home Inc. (2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY 11572). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Greenfield Cemetery (650 Nassau Road, Uniondale, NY 11553).
