George Daskalakis

George Daskalakis passed away on February 12, 2019 at the age of 91.

George accomplished anything he set his mind to do. Since his early days as a mechanic, he always had a passion for automobiles and tinkering. This love lead him to be the handyman, painter, electrician, plumber, and gardener in the Daskalakis household.

He also looked forward to his weekly trips to the flea market, always looking for a bargain regardless of what the object was (even if he didn't need it). Even though his left some unfinished projects, he earned his spot on the porch watching the swans with his glass of wine.

He leaves his wife of 70 years, Sophie Daskalakis. They raised four children, Theodora, George, Christina, and Gregory, and were blessed with four grandchildren Stephanie, George, Theodora, and Kevin, and one great-grandchild Logan George.
