Geraldine Tripp

Geraldine Frances Loughran Tripp, 86, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 3, 1940, in 9 Beaghbeg Rd, Cookstown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Geraldine immigrated to the United States as a young teenager, bringing with her the courage, determination, and optimism that would shape her remarkable life.

A devoted wife to her beloved husband, Pat, and a loving mother to James, Colleen, and John Patrick, she was the heart of her family and the proud grandmother of Liam, Avery, and Taylor. Also survived by her loving sisters, Regina McBride, Anna Farrell, Pearl Janson and Mary Loughran, and loving brothers Tony Loughran and Oliver Loughran.

Geraldine pursued her passion for cosmetology and fulfilled her entrepreneurial dream as the owner of Fantasia Hair Salon, where she built not only a successful business, but also lasting friendships and a reputation for making others feel beautiful and valued. Known for her generosity, deep faith, adventurous spirit, and unwavering devotion to family, she embraced life with enthusiasm, whether traveling the world, hosting family gatherings, helping a friend in need, or cheering on those she loved.

Her warmth, strength, humor, and boundless love touched countless lives, and her legacy will live on through the family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and the guiding light of her family.
