Grace Ann Ferko

Grace Ann Ferko (McCamphill) passed peacefully in her sleep, Saturday August 17th. She was 89 years old.

Grace was born in Brooklyn NY, part of a large, fun loving, sometimes boisterous Irish “clan”. She met Edward Ferko, at of all places – a roller skating rink and probably against her better judgement and the advice of her good friends – married him anyway. At the time of Edward’s passing, they had been married 60 years

She and Edward (aka Fast Eddie) raised their four children, Kathleen, Margaret, Edward and Michael in Oceanside New York.

She loved spending time with her family and her 10 grandkids, (Ian, Paul, Stephen, Joe, Artie, Maddie, Christine, Michael, Jimmy and Eliza) her backyard pool, visits to Maine, whooping your butt at scrabble or Trivial Pursuit, solving puzzles and a good book.
