Hannah A. Sheehan (Friel) 82 of Staten Island New York. Departed October 2, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with kidney desease . Former wife of the late Stephen J Sheehan and the late Joseph Marro. Beloved mother of Stephen, Glenn and Timothy. Cherished mother in law to Heidi, Sara and Viktoriya. Loving Grandmother to Joseph, Melanie, Glenn, and John. Dear sister of Maryann Casey and departed siblings, Edward Friel, Margaret Rubin, Catherine Gutowski and Michael Friel. Adored sister in law to Allan Rubin and Dennis Casey. Loved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Hannah always had the gift of gab, chatting with her many friends and Family. The phone was always busy. She always liked telling her stories of the past. We always enjoyed hearing of them even if we heard them a million times before. She had a strong personality and would let you know her opinion of matters especially when she did not approve. Hannah will be truly missed and will be forever in our hearts.

Visiting hours are October 9th at Towers Funeral Home Oceanside, New York. 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Burial is Tuesday October 10th at St Raymonds Cemetery, Bronx, New York. The funeral procession will be meeting at Towers Funeral Home at 10AM on Tuesday.
