Harvey Crosby

Harvey M. Crosby at the age of 94, born in Charleston, South Carolina and a 67 year resident of Oceanside, New York, passed away after a long illness on April 7, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Nanette, the love of his life. Devoted father of Nancy L. Western and Cynthia J. Crafa. Cherished grandfather of Tammy Hallock, Michelle Ewulu, Wendy Western, the late Michael L. Crafa and Patrick Crafa. Great granfather of Chika, Emeka, Gabriella, Maria Ewulu and Olivia and Gianluca Crafa. Adored son of the late Wilhelmina and Melvin L. Crosby. Beloved brother of Louise, Walter, Frances, and the late Elmore and Earl Crosby.

The family will receive visitors, Sunday April 10, 2016 at Tower Funeral Home, Oceanside, New York, 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 -9 p.m. Internment, Monday April 11, 2016 at 11 a.m., St. Johns Holy Trinity Church, Hewlett, New York.

Mel was a former Mason and Shriner, a much decorated World War II veteran, an entrepreneur, a successful builder of dreams. Rest in peace, Poppi.
