Immaculate Kruhmin, known by everyone as "Margaret" or “Maggie”, was born on September 21st at Unity Hospital in Brooklyn, to Fred and Fran De Pascale.
Raised in East New York, Brooklyn, she moved to Terrell Ave in Oceanside with then husband William Kruhmin in the early 70's. In July of 1977 she gave birth to her son, Damian.
Maggie made friends everywhere she went with her loud, jovial, animated personality, which was rivaled only by her passion and excellence in the kitchen, both cooking and baking. Her homemade cookies and chocolates were the holiday highlights of family, friends, neighbors, Damians' teachers, and even the mailman.
Her dinner parties were extraordinary, her meatballs were legendary. She loved to host, loved to pamper, and loved to make people happy. She always invited everyone over to use the pool and the backyard whenever they liked, the backyard beautifully adorned with a myriad of flowers and plants which she loved to water everyday while listening to 80's music.
Maggie passed away shortly after 9 pm at South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside on October 17th, 2025, after a long battle with a rolodex of competing health issues. She is survived by her son, Damain Kruhmin, brother Neil De Pascale, and her Aunt Molly Bongiorno
