Irene Ellen Mcdevitt

Irene Ellen McDevitt, age 97, of Long Beach, NY died Wednesday, August 3rd, in Oceanside, NY. Ms. McDevitt was born May 15, 1919 in Belfast, Ireland, the daughter of the late Charles and the late Margaret (McAllister) McDevitt.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, August 8th, at St Mary of the Isle, 315 East Walnut Street, Long Beach, NY. A private cremation will follow the mass. The burial of her cremated remains in the cemetery of St Mary Star of the Sea, located in Lawrence, NY, will take place at a later date to be determined by her family.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, August 7th, from 2 pm-4 pm & 7pm-9 pm at Towers Funeral Home.
