Jack Merritt Walters (January 23, 1947 – June 21, 2026)
Mr. Jack Merritt Walters, age 79, of North Woodmere, NY, passed on June 21st, 2026.
He was born in Oceanside, NY in 1947 to Archibald “Archie” Merritt Walters and Elizabeth “Betty” Walters (nee Bruzzo). He grew up in Oceanside, NY, graduated from Oceanside High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Nassau Community College, before working at the New York State Liquidation Bureau for almost thirty years. He was also a veteran of the United States Military, having served during the Vietnam conflict.
Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his loving wife Patrica Ann Walters (nee Caparelli), and is survived by his two sons, Brian Walters and Sean Walters, their spouses Maria Walters and Natalia Kanchashvili, and three grandchildren, Nicholas, Sofia and Luka Walters.
On June 26, 2026, he will be laid to rest at Greenfield Cemetery in Uniondale, NY, alongside his beloved wife.
