James F. Drake, of Oceanside, NY on November 7, 2017. Longtime resident of Rosedale, NY. Retired member of FDNY, Rescue Co. 2. Beloved husband of Judith for 53 years. Loving father of James Jr., Kristine and Michael. Dear brother of the late Albert. Cherished grandfather of Kaylah, Michael, Shana and Ryan. He will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Reposing will be at Towers Fueral Home, Inc. 2681 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY 11572, Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday 10am, St Christopher RC Church, Baldwin, NY. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to The St Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
