James N. Georgakis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James N. Georgakis, who left us on Monday, May 5th, 2025.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Paul in Hempstead, NY, on Thursday, May 8th, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location. Interment will be at Pinelawn Memorial Park at 12:45 pm.

In this time of loss, we take comfort in remembering the beautiful life Jim led and the many memories he leaves behind. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives of his wife, children, grandchildren and all those he touched along his journey. May his memory be eternal.
