James P. Tsirigotis
A much loved husband, father, Pappou, uncle, brother-in-law and friend to all who knew him. Jimmy passed away peacefully at home June 17, 2025 with his loving wife of 67 years by his side. He bravely confronted and fought cancer. He was born in Potamia, a small picturesque village near Sparta, Greece. He moved his family to America in the late 1960’s with very little money, but with hopes, determination and dreams. In a very short period he accomplished more than most do in a lifetime with many obstacles he managed to make a better life for himself and his family. Especially for his children. A gentleman who was dignified, generous, welcoming warmth, kindness and love for everyone he encountered. His smile was infectious and his gratitude for life and everything around was truly inspiring. His love of nature, picture perfect garden and olive groves was his passion ~ he was masterful in anything he touched.
He fought a good fight, he kept the faith, he won the race !
He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Maria, children and their families, Peter (Sophia) Tsirigotis, Angela (John) Triandafillou, Tony (Sylvie) Tsirigotis.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Carissa (Kyle), Dimitri, Maria, Kathryn, Demetre (Zoey), and Yianni (Katie)
