Jill Andrea Lambert

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Andrea Lambert, a vibrant, fiercely independent woman who left this world far too soon. Predeceased by Jerome and Judy Coopersmith of Rockville Centre, NY.

Jill is survived by her husband and partner for the last 16 years, Robert, her stepson Daniel, her sister Amy Coopersmith Lauria (Ken), her niece Kimberly Nicholetti (Shane), her nephew Kyle Cheney (Hannah), and her beautiful grand-nieces Clara and Bea.

In addition, Jill leaves her cousin Gretchen Garrett (Jeff) and her nieces and nephew through marriage: Stephanie Lauria (Chad), Michelle Franzen (Danny), and Kevin Lauria, as well as her grand-nephews Gavin and Ashton, and grand-niece Annalee.

From the beginning, Jill radiated a light uniquely her own. As a child, she was spirited and full of energy—a whirlwind who brought laughter and mischief wherever she went. In her teen years, Jill carved her own path with fearless rebellion, unafraid to challenge expectations and test limits. Her energy and unshakable individuality were trademarks that followed her through every stage of life.

A true artist at heart, Jill was endlessly talented. Whether working with precious metal, fabric, computers, or a camera lens, she brought beauty and originality to everything she touched. Her eye for detail and deep appreciation for the world’s textures and colors led her into photography and eventually videography, where she founded her own successful business, capturing stories with grace, power, and purpose.

Never one to be confined to a single identity, Jill’s journey evolved into the corporate world, where she thrived as a project manager and visionary leader. Her creative mind and strategic thinking earned her leadership roles at numerous international companies. Her final professional chapter saw her rise to become a respected global leader at Cisco, where her brilliance, compassion, and steady leadership left a profound impact.

Throughout her career, Jill received numerous awards and accolades, but perhaps more meaningful than any trophy was the deep respect she earned from colleagues, mentors, and friends alike. She was known for her fierce loyalty and her unwavering commitment to doing things the right way—even when it wasn’t the easy way.

Jill’s absence leaves an aching space in the lives of those who have loved her, but her legacy lives on in the art she created, the teams she led, the loving relationships she nurtured, and the fearless way she lived. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Friends are invited to attend her service on Sunday, July 6th from 7- 9 pm at Tower Funeral Home (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572).

Jill's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY for all the care she received and compassion they demonstrated over the last 2 years. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Unity Hospital Fund.
