John J. Mckeegan

John J. McKeegan, age 84, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Mr. McKeegan was born July 27, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late John and the late Katherine (Kane) McKeegan. John is the beloved husband of the late Garaldine Havecker-McKeegan, the loving father of Kathleen Rodenas, Karen A. Vitberg, John McKeegan, Kim M. Lewis and Michelle Yoeckel. John is also survived by his loving wife Corinne and step-daughters Elaine M. Egan and Janet A. Egan, his sister Lori Rice and brother-in-law Richard. He is the dear father-in-law to Michael Lewis, Meryl McKeegan and George Delgado. He was a devoted grandfather of nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. John was a proud patrol officer of the NYPD, a fourth degree Knight as well as a veteran of the US military.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45AM on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. Anthony’s RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale on Thursday, August 24 at 11:15AM.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 22nd from 7-9PM and Wednesday, August 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
