Jose Garcia passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was the beloved father of Jason and Justin, former husband of Millie Fischetto, cherished father-in-law to Luisa, and proud grandfather of Gabriella.

Jose will be remembered as a kind-hearted, fun-loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle (tío), and friend. He treated everyone he met with warmth, kindness, and respect. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—playing dominoes, listening to Spanish music, bringing home food for his family, and watching a good old action movie. He especially loved spending Friday nights watching baseball with his sons and enjoying his favorite Dominican food.

His love, laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of so many. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends, who will cherish him always.
