Julia A. Wilkerson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Julia A. Wilkerson who departed this life on February 15, 2026 in Rockville Center, NY. 

She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Relative and Friend. Julia will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.Julia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Sr. of 58 years, her son Robert Jr, daughter Carolyn Farrar and great grandson Keith Ellis. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Lucille Adams (103 years old) and her loving children Annie Beckles, Lola Wilkerson, Freddie Wilkerson and Renee Arnold. Julia is blessed to be further survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, as well as countless relatives and friends who cherished her warmth, kindness, and joy that she brought to all. 

Born in Bennittsville, SC on June 11, 1933. Julia spent the earliest years of her life in Bennittsville, SC until she and Robert Sr. relocated to Brooklyn, NY in 1953. In 1976 they again relocated to South Hempstead, NY where she spent the last 50 years of her prosperous life. Here, she not only found friends but also thrived in her passion for life, and her ongoing commitment to her family. We hold in the close comfort of our hearts that she is welcomed by those who preceded her. 

May her beautiful and loving heart rest in peace as we all remember her dearly until we meet again.
