Kathleen Flynn Mccarthy

Kathleen Flynn McCarthy, a mother, teacher, and friend, passed away on May 1, 2019. Kath, as she liked to be called, was a tough and stubborn woman, but her laughter and smile could light up a room. She helped raise 2 boys who gave her a run for her money. She wouldn’t give an inch in an argument, but her smile was infectious, and she had a great sense of humor. She was a loving mother to Thomas and his wife Tricia, and William and his wife Janet. She was a devoted ‘Grammie’ to her 4 grandchildren: Maddie, Thomas Joseph, Cora, and Anne. She was sister to Bennett and his wife Patricia. She was a caring aunt to Brian, Timothy, and Tonio. She was sister-in-law to Kate McCarthy. She was a best friend to Thomas and so many others who felt the warmth of her life.
