Kathleen Anne Jagodzinski passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia, surrounded by love. Born on July 15, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, Kathleen lived a life filled with laughter, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was a source of comfort, humor, and constant kindness. Kathleen had a gift for making everyone around her know how deeply they were loved. Her warmth filled every space she entered, and her gentle strength inspired those fortunate enough to know her. Her laughter came easily and often, a reflection of her radiant spirit. For more than twenty years, she devoted her career to working with students with special needs, guiding each child with patience, compassion and genuine care.
Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, Clifford Jagodzinski; her loving daughters, Jessica Corbett and Katelin Corbett and son in law Jason Turner; her adored grandchildren, Grace Turner and Jackson Turner, who brought her immeasurable joy; and her siblings Michael Walsh and Maureen Ostacher.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held at St. Anthony’s Church in Oceanside, New York, on Saturday, November 8th at 10:45 a.m. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and honor her beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, in honor of her generous spirit and her deep care for children.
Kathleen’s light remains, shining gently through the lives she touched and the love she so freely shared.
