Leanne Gorman

Leanne Gorman April 9, 1982 - March 3, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Leanne. When we think of Leanne we think of her big gorgeous smile and her sparkling blue eyes. She was unconditionally loving and kind, open and friendly throughout everything she experienced in life. She had great inner strength and deep reserves of resilience and was a beacon of light to all she encountered. Leanne was beautiful in many ways and made everyone she met feel special and cherished. Even brief encounters with neighbors and strangers led to lingering memories of Leanne with the bright smile and the kind word. She made friends wherever she went. We are grateful for Leanne's swift and sure ascent to the Lord and take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with both of her cherished grandmothers. We will carry Leanne's light within us, shining for all the world to see. Leanne grew up in Freeport, NY and attended Freeport High School. She graduated from Briarcliffe College with a degree in Marketing and lived in Oakdale, NY Leanne is survived by her mother, Linda (Yelles) Gorman and Father, Gerald Gorman of Wimauma, FL, her sister Kayla and nieces Emma and Jessa Osborne, her brother Michael Gorman and her Grandfather, Edwin Yelles, Freeport. NY. Leanne had many (many) aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her very much. Leanne touched many lives, and for those who knew her (or even just met her), would say their heart also grew because of her. Leanne we are heart broken that you left us so soon. I know you don't want us to worry for you. We take comfort in knowing that you are in heaven. We love you and will miss you dearly. The Gorman family
