Leo Anthony Bonacasa

November 21, 1961- July 10, 2024

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Jill (Simpson), as well as his children Leo (Katelyn), Matthew (Allyson), Julia Borruso (Andrew), and Melanie Morales (Brandon). He was a beloved Papa to his two wonderful granddaughters, McKenna and Sadie. He was the dear son of Leonardo (Dino) and Giovannina (Joanne) and brother to Angela and Dino (Laura). He was also a cherished Uncle to his seven nieces and nephews.

Leo spent many years volunteering with various organizations in the Oceanside Community, serving as President of the Oceanside United Soccer Club and Oceanside Community Service for multiple years. He was honored with the Kiwanis “Heart of Gold” award and the Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year.” He always put others above himself and firmly believed in helping the less fortunate.
