Leonard M Schiano

Leonard M Schiano, age 91, of Oceanside died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at home. Mr. Schiano was born November 15, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Bartholomew and the late Maria (Esposito) Schiano. He married Santa Gonnelli.

He served in the Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1946.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:45 am on Tuesday, October 21 at St Anthonys RC Church, 110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY with officiating. Burial will be in LI National, Farmingdale on Tuesday, October 21 at 11:30 am.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 20 from 6 PM to 8pm at Towers Funeral Home Inc., 2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY.
