Louis Eric Sachsenmaier

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Louis Eric Sachsenmaier of Oceanside, NY, who passed away on August 24,2026 at the age of 69. Referred to by family and friends as Eric, he was a loving husband to Linda, devoted father to Katie, Jessica and Eric, and grandfather to Chloe, Xavier, Mason, Rocco, Louis, Kieran and Anthony.

Eric was born in Brooklyn on February 22, 1957 to Louis and Sheila Sachsenmaier. His is the eldest brother of his two sisters. Eric worked for over 30 years at Con Edison, finishing his career in the management department, showcasing an expertise of computer software and networking in the field.

Eric will be remembered as a proud man who always worked hard for his family, paid close attention to detail in any task that he did and always did right by his loved ones. His jokes and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Eric’s family will forever carry him in their hearts and find peace in knowing he is at rest. We love you.
