Manny Sfiridis

Manny Sfiridis, 90, of West Hempstead, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.

Manny is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Mary, his children Konstantinos and Irene Trakas, Van-John Sfiridis, George Williams and grandchildren, George and Anastasia Trakas, Maria Trakas and Danny Davanelos, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. He was pre-deceased by his beloved sister Vivian Mikades.

Manny was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather. He was an excellent mechanic, who took pride in his work and was an avid soccer enthusiast. His sharp humor and shockingly keen memory will be missed.

Visitation will be held from 5-9pm on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Towers Funeral Home. Funeral services for Manny will be held at St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Hempstead, NY on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 9am. Manny will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. May his memory be eternal.
