With heavy hearts and profound love, we remember Maria T. Maxwell, who passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the age of 68.
Maria was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and sister whose faith and love were the foundation of her life. She lived each day with grace, kindness, and a steadfast devotion to God. Maria approached life with a generous heart, a caring spirit, and an unwavering love for her family.
Maria’s family was the center of her world. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Maxwell; her loving son, Nicholas Maxwell, and his wife, Amanda Maxwell; and her treasured granddaughters, Nichalina and Gabriella Maxwell, who brought immense joy to her heart. She also leaves behind her dear brother, James Capone, and his wife, Marie Capone, along with many extended family members and friends who will always hold her memory close.
Maria’s faith guided her through life’s joys and challenges. Maria will be remembered for her gentle strength, her love of family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. Her laughter, warmth, and wisdom will live on through the many lives she touched.
“Those we love don’t go away,
They walk beside us every day —
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.”
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Maria’s life and honor the legacy of love and faith she leaves behind. Maria will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.
