Marie C. O'Connor

It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Ryan O’Connor, age 89, announce her passing on January 31, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O’Connor. Loving mother of six children, Catherine Maroney (James), Sally Dunne (late Michael), James O'Connor (Donna) and the late Thomas O’Connor (Linda), the late Marie Doyle (Michael), and the late Patrick O'Connor (Nicole). She will be fondly remembered by her seventeen grandchildren, Marie, Jimmy, Katie, Sarah, Maureen, Billy, Kelly, Michael, Jennifer, Caitlin, Patrice, Kayla, Jordan, Kasey, Kara, Michaela, and Michael. Marie was a proud great-grandmother of ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Katie Lacey (Marty), and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. She will be forever remembered and missed by all!

Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Thursday, February 6th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Towers Funeral home in Oceanside, NY. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, February 7th at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Church in Long Beach, NY. Burial will follow at the National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
